Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 22, 2026

When you use DealsClicker, you are trusting us with some basic information about how you browse and what you do on our site. We take that seriously.

This page explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have written it in plain language so it is easy to read — not because we are hiding anything, but because we believe you deserve to understand it.

The short version: We collect basic usage data to keep the site running properly. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We use affiliate links to earn a commission when you shop — and we are upfront about that throughout our site.

We collect information in two ways — things you give us directly, and things that are collected automatically when you visit our site.

Things you give us directly:

  • Contact form: If you reach out to us, we collect your name and email address so we can reply to you.
  • Newsletter: If you sign up for deal alerts, we collect your email address. That is all.
  • Coupon submissions: If you submit a coupon, we collect the coupon details. Your email is optional here.

Things collected automatically:

What Details Why we need it
Log data
IP address, browser type, pages you visit, time on site
To keep the site secure and understand general traffic patterns
Cookies
Small files stored on your device by your browser
To make the site work properly and remember your preferences
Device info
Device type, screen size, operating system
So the site displays correctly on your device
Referral source
How you arrived at our site
To understand which traffic sources bring people to us

Note: We do not collect your name, address, payment details, or any sensitive personal information unless you specifically give it to us through our contact form.

Here is what we actually do with the information we collect:

  • We use it to keep the site running and fix problems when they come up.
  • We use your email to reply if you contact us through our form.
  • If you subscribed to our newsletter, we use your email to send deal alerts — nothing else.
  • We look at general traffic data to understand what is working on the site and what is not.
  • We use it to detect and stop any suspicious or abusive activity.

We will never send your email to a third party for marketing. We will never use your data for anything outside what is described here. If that ever changes, we will update this page and let you know.

Cookies are small files that get saved on your device when you visit a website. They are used by almost every website on the internet. Here is how we use them:

  • Essential cookies: These keep the site working — things like remembering your session. You cannot turn these off without breaking the site.
  • Analytics cookies: We use Google Analytics to see basic traffic data — how many people visit, which pages are popular, that kind of thing. This data is anonymised and does not identify you personally.
  • Affiliate cookies: When you click a coupon link and go to a store, that store or affiliate network places a cookie on your device. This is how we track whether a purchase was made and earn a commission. We explain this in more detail in Section 4.
  • Preference cookies: These remember settings you have chosen so you do not have to set them again on your next visit.

How to manage cookies: You can change your cookie settings any time through your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies under Settings or Preferences. Keep in mind that switching off certain cookies may affect how parts of the site work. For a step-by-step guide on managing cookies, visit allaboutcookies.org.

We want to be straight with you: DealsClicker earns a commission when you click certain links on our site and buy something. This does not cost you anything extra — the price you pay at the store is exactly the same.

We work with major affiliate networks to track commissions and process payments.

When you click a “Get Code” or “Get Deal” button on our site, you are usually going through one of these affiliate links. If you make a purchase, we get a small cut from the store — not from you.

This commission is how we keep DealsClicker free to use and pay our team to verify deals every day. We want you to know this because we think honesty matters more than keeping it quiet.

Our choice of which brands and deals to feature is not influenced by commission rates. We pick deals that are genuinely useful for our users — full stop.

This disclosure is in line with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines for endorsements and affiliate marketing in the United States.

We use a few third-party tools to help run the site. Here is what they are and why we use them:

  • Google Analytics: Tells us how many people visit and which pages they look at. The data is anonymised — Google cannot identify you from it, and neither can we. You can read Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Google Fonts: Loads the fonts you see on this page. Google may collect basic request data when fonts load.
  • Affiliate networks: When you click an affiliate link, the network’s own privacy policy applies to anything that happens on their platform or the retailer’s site.
  • Email service: If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email is stored with our email provider. We only use it to send deal updates — nothing else.

Once you click away from our site to a retailer or another service, their own privacy rules apply. We would encourage you to check the privacy policy of any site you visit.

We do not sell your personal information. We never have and we do not plan to. We do not share it with advertisers or marketers either.

There are a small number of situations where we might need to share some data:

  • Service providers: Companies that help us run the site — like our hosting provider or analytics tool. They only get what they need to do their job and they are not allowed to use it for anything else.
  • Legal requirements: If a court order or law enforcement request requires us to hand over information, we have to comply. We would not do this voluntarily.
  • Business changes: If DealsClicker is ever sold or merged with another company, user data may be part of that transfer. If that happens, we will tell you in advance via email or a notice on the site.

Depending on where you are based, you may have certain rights over your personal data. Here is what you can do:

  • See your data: You can ask us what information we hold about you.
  • Fix your data: If something is wrong, you can ask us to correct it.
  • Delete your data: You can ask us to remove your personal information. We will do this unless we are legally required to keep it.
  • Unsubscribe: Every newsletter email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list.
  • Manage cookies: You can change or remove cookies through your browser settings at any time.

For California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we have collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of any sale. We do not sell personal information — so the last one does not apply here.

For EU and UK residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data. You can also restrict how we process it, request a copy in a portable format, or object to processing in certain circumstances. If you feel your rights are not being respected, you have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, just email us at contact@dealsclicker.com and we will get back to you.

DealsClicker is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone under that age.

If you are a parent or guardian and you think your child has given us their information, please contact us straight away at contact@dealsclicker.com. We will delete it as soon as we can.

We take reasonable steps to keep the information we hold secure. That includes:

  • HTTPS encryption on all pages of the site
  • Regular security updates on our servers and software
  • Limiting who on our team can access personal data
  • Using reputable, secure hosting infrastructure

That said, no website can guarantee 100% security. If something ever goes wrong and your data is affected, we will notify you as required by law.

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new feature or if laws change. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.

If the changes are significant, we will try to let you know more clearly — either through a notice on the site or via email if you are subscribed to our newsletter.

Continuing to use DealsClicker after a change means you accept the updated policy.

Have a question about your privacy?

We are a small team and we read every message we receive.

If something in this policy is unclear, or you want to make a request about your data, just drop us an email.
