Cookie Policy

What cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.

Last Updated: April 26, 2026

When you visit DealsClicker, small files called cookies get stored on your device. They help the site work properly, let us understand how people use the site, and — in some cases — allow our affiliate partners to track purchases made through our links.

We want to be upfront about this. This page explains exactly what cookies we use, what each one does, and how you can turn them off if you want to.

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or phone when you visit. It gets sent back to the website on your next visit so the site can remember things about you — like your preferences or whether you are logged in.

Cookies are used by nearly every website on the internet. They are not programs, they cannot run code, and they cannot carry viruses. They are just small text files.

Some cookies last only as long as your browser is open — these are called session cookies. Others stay on your device for a set period of time — these are called persistent cookies.

Good to know: Cookies by themselves cannot identify you personally. They identify your browser or device, not you as an individual.

We use four types of cookies on DealsClicker:

Essential Cookies

These keep the site working. Without them, things like page navigation and secure areas would not function. You cannot turn these off.

Analytics Cookies

These tell us how people use the site — which pages are popular, how long people stay, and where they come from. We use Google Analytics. All data is anonymised.

Affiliate Tracking Cookies

When you click a deal link and visit a retailer, they place a cookie to track whether you make a purchase. This is how we earn a commission. It does not affect your price.

Preference Cookies

These remember settings you have chosen — like your preferred language or region — so you do not have to set them again on your next visit.

Here is a breakdown of the specific cookies we set on DealsClicker:

Set by retailers when you click our links — tracks purchases for commission

Note: Third-party cookies set by retailers and affiliate networks are outside our direct control. Each network has its own cookie policy.

This one is worth explaining properly because it is specific to how coupon sites work.

When you click a “Get Code” or “Get Deal” button on DealsClicker, you go to the retailer’s website through a tracking link. At that point, the retailer or their affiliate network places a cookie on your device. This cookie has one job — to record that you came from DealsClicker, so that if you buy something, we get credited with the referral.

This cookie does not affect the price you pay. It does not collect your personal information. It simply tells the retailer “this shopper came from DealsClicker.” You can read more about this on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

These cookies are set by third parties — the retailers and affiliate networks — not by us directly. Their duration is typically 30 to 45 days, meaning if you buy something within that window after clicking our link, we earn a commission.

Some cookies on our site are set by third-party services we use. We do not control these cookies — they are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that set them:

  • Google Analytics: Tracks site usage data anonymously. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Fonts: Loads the fonts used on this site. May set basic cookies.
  • Affiliate networks: Set cookies when you click through our deal links. Each network has its own policy.

If you want to block third-party cookies specifically, you can do this in your browser settings — more on that in the next section.

You are in control of cookies. You can choose to block or delete them at any time through your browser settings. Here is how to do it in the most common browsers:

Keep in mind: If you block essential cookies, some parts of DealsClicker may not work properly — for example, you may not be able to stay logged in to your account. Analytics and affiliate cookies can be blocked without affecting the core features of the site.

When you first visit DealsClicker, you may see a cookie notice at the bottom of the screen. This gives you the option to accept or decline non-essential cookies.

If you accept, we store a small cookie to remember your choice so we do not show you the notice every time you visit.

If you decline, we will only use essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site — the notice will appear again.

For visitors from the European Union or United Kingdom, our cookie notice is designed to meet the requirements of the GDPR and the UK PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations).

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new tool or service that uses cookies. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.

If the changes are significant, we will let you know through a notice on the site. Continuing to use DealsClicker after any update means you accept the revised policy.
